It was a familiar sight for Arkansas fans Wednesday night at Bud Walton Arena.
The Razorbacks held a nine-point halftime lead, but weren't able to hold off Ole Miss, falling 98-91 in overtime.
Terrico White scored a career-high 29 points and Zach Graham added 20 more to lead the Rebels (16-13, 7-8 Southeastern Conference), who were without injured leading scorer David Huertas.
"For us to score 98 points without our leading scorer, I'm really proud of our guys," Ole Miss coach Andy Kennedy said.
Dealing with injuries has been nothing new for the Rebels this season. Ole Miss starters Chris Warren and Eniel Polynice are both out for the season after suffering injuries earlier in the year.
"We've obviously had our fair share of adversity this year. The guys continue to fight and continue to give great effort. It's nice to finally see that effort rewarded by the ball going in the basket."
White scored 25 of his 29 points in the second half to help make up for the loss of Huertas.
Kennedy said White is the best freshman in the conference.
"We're sitting here with seven wins in SEC play with the personnel losses that we've had," Kennedy said. "You take three of the top four players off anybody's team in this league, and without Terrico White being the freshman of the year in this league, we can't win a game.
"He absorbs a new position. He makes timely plays for us. He is super athletic. He shoots and gets the ball to the right people at the right time. He's having a tremendous year."
Rotnei Clarke led five Arkansas players in double figures with 19 points, but it wasn't enough for the Razorbacks (14-14, 2-13) to win their second straight SEC game for the first time this season.
The loss marks the first time under Pelphrey that the Razorbacks have scored 80 or more points and not won.
"Bottom line is that we've got to have an ability to focus and do the things we teach our guys to do," Pelphrey said.
