Thanks to UA students who helped clean yard
I would like to show our appreciation for the work these 12 young men did for us on Saturday morning. They are Stephen Sieck, Adrian Beirise, Blake Chism, Hunter House, David Bingaman, Matt Nutt, Jonathan Gibson, Austin Ward, Zach Annett, Caleb Sieck, Travis Fink and Cass Trumbo; they belong to the BUCS (Brothers Under Christ) Men's Christian Fraternity.
My son, a friend and I were getting ready to start working on the mess in my front yard when a truckload of young men pulled into my driveway and asked if they could help us clean up our yard. At first I was hesitant, wondering what amount they were going to charge me to do the work, but when I asked, they said that they just wanted to help.
And help they did - they went right to work moving fallen tree limbs, cutting up tree limbs, stacking wood and raking the yard. They worked from around 9:00 a.m. that morning until around 3:00 p.m. that afternoon, and they never complained. They asked what needed to be done and did it.
I am very thankful that these young men showed up when they did and feel truly blessed that they were willing to help my family and I clean up the mess left from the ice storm. Thank you once again for all of the hard work that you did. We really truly appreciate it.
