If you haven't already, get 'Bizy'

If you proclaim yourself as the "best" at something, you can bet I'll be knocking on your door.
It all started last week when trying to figure out which corner of Mission Boulevard and Crossover Street hides Cable Car Pizza. While searching the second incorrect corner, we saw a neat place with all sorts of pretty neon lights and palm trees. It drew me in like a fly.
OK, so it took me a week to actually get "drawn in," but I'm just as busy as you are.
In any case, our story begins.
The name of the place is Bizy's, and the food is good. The parking wasn't as dismal and austere as campus parking, but open spaces were a precious commodity when I visited. I don't think you should reserve spaces for Curbside Takeout if you have a shared small lot to begin with. I also don't think you should be allowed to charge more than $400 dollars for parking, but I won't rehash that can of worms until August.
But I digress.
After reading some online reviews, I was worried that service would be horrible at best. Despite the place being quite "Bizy," if I may, our service was great. We started our evening off with the creamy artichoke spinach dip, which Bizy's calls the "Best in Town."
Someone call the Pretentious Patrol!
False alarm; their declaration holds up.
Frankly, I don't even know how many spinach dips I've had in this town and how they compare to one another, but Bizy's was extraordinary. As for the best? I can't really be the judge of that, but it sure was tasty. It was rich and creamy with big leaves of fresh green spinach flopping around with every bite.
The next potentially pretentious perpetrator on my Bizy-ness trip was the order of baby back ribs, which are also boldly labeled as the "Best in Town."
But I know a melt-in-your-mouth rib when I eat it, and Bizy's has got it. My personal taste would appreciate a sauce with a little bit more spice or zest, but you can't please everyone. The sauce, however, did have a good flavor, and the meat was tender.
