Montrell McDonald brings his stunning athleticism and defensive skills, while Michael Sanchez brings his intensity and hustle.
All of the newcomers have something they bring to the table. All of them will have to use these skills in order for this team to overachieve.
But rebuilding in the Southeastern Conference is not an easy task.
After advancing to the Final Four in 2006, LSU fell off the basketball map with the losses of some of their key players.
After winning back-to-back national championships in 2006 and 2007, Florida struggled at times last season, finishing with a 24-12 overall record and an 8-8 record in conference play.
The bottom line is that will be a year full of growing pains for these young Razorbacks.
But if the young Hogs can tap into their abilities and play as a team, they will be able to compete in the SEC.
If nothing else, fans should be excited to watch this team grow over the course of the season.
It'll be a bumpy, up-and-down ride, but it will be worth it.
Patience, after all, is a virtue.
