Yesterday was Veterans Day, and in the haste of busy students with crammed schedules to get through a hectic semester, it might have gone unnoticed by some.
But it's not too late to thank U.S. veterans, past and present, who have served this country.
We all know them. They're our parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters. They're our co-workers and bosses. They're our roommates, friends and strangers on the street.
It's so easy to forget sometimes that the United States is at war across the globe, that thousands are risking their lives every single day. But we have to remember.
So, thanks, veterans. Words could never express the gratitude we have for what you've done.
