The Oklahoma City Thunder signed former Razorback Steven Hill on Tuesday.
The move comes one day after the Thunder released point guard John Lucas III.
Hill played in three preseason games for the Portland Trail Blazers, but was one of the team's final cuts.
In his senior season at Arkansas, Hill averaged 4.2 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 blocks.
As a junior, Hill was named the Southeastern Conference Defensive Player of the Year after averaging 2.8 blocks and 1.1 steals.
By adding Hill, Oklahoma City returns its roster to the league-mandated maximum of 15 players.
It's unlikely Hill will see playing time over centers Johan Petro, Robert Swift and Mouhamed Sene, but he is eligible to be sent to the Tulsa 66ers of the National Basketball Developmental League because he is a rookie.
