Three 6 Mafia, along with Freesol, Boom Kinetic and Thanks for Nothing, will perform 7 p.m. tonight at the Fayetteville Town Center.

Tickets cost $38, but as a special promotion for UA students, Hutch Entertainment, a promoter for the concert, is offering a discount of $8, making tickets $30 each.

"When students go to buy tickets online, they can use the promotional code number 36 to get the discount," said Todd Hutch, promoter for the concert.

Students may also buy tickets by calling 1-877-837-6616 and mentioning the promotional code, Hutch said.

If the show is successful, Hutch Entertainment will bring many concerts to the area for UA students and young adults in Northwest Arkansas, he said.

"We would love to be the promoter that brings all the shows to town that otherwise might skip Fayetteville," he said.

Hutch Entertainment booked Three 6 Mafia in Fayetteville because of the success the company experienced in 2003 when it booked Island Orgy, hosted by Kappa Sigma fraternity.

"The crowd swelled to nearly 5,000 people, and people to this day still ask me about that concert and that wild night," Hutch said.

Jordan Houston, known as "Juicy J" in Three 6 Mafia, said he is excited to see everybody "having a good time" at the concert.

"Music means a lot to me," Houston said. "I've made a lot of money and friends and have been able to take care of my family with that money. It's a blessing to be here, and I'll always do music, whether it be rock, R&B or hip hop."

Houston said Three 6 Mafia will bring Memphis, Tenn., style to the Fayetteville concert.

"Our music gets you excited to go out to the bar and drink," he said. "It gets you excited when you're rolling down the street on some 28s flossing with the music."

Three 6 Mafia has been together for 16 years, and the band's music appeals to teens and young adults.

"We will be singing a lot of our new and old stuff, a good mix," Houston said. "Everybody's going to have a good time."
