Donors could support university as a whole

The Sam M. Walton College of Business was recently named in the top 20 national public and private universities for its marketing and corporate strategy programs in an issue of Business Week.
While this is an outstanding accomplishment, the business college has been nothing short of extraordinary for the past decade, especially with the number of successful graduates coming out of the college.
While the College of Business does attribute most of its success to its graduates, more funds allow the college also to bring in distinguished faculty and an abundance of educational tools.
This obviously allows for a broader spectrum of opportunities for UA business students.
The College of Business is a great place to be, as Business Week noted, but the rest of the colleges and departments at the UA have the opportunity to be treated as prestigious, as well.
Perhaps donors could begin contributing to the university as a whole or other individual areas of study. This would never take away from the success of the business college, but it might help the UA community to see their institution grow to be wholly prestigious, and not just impressive in certain areas.
