"The main thing for us is pushing our original music for the rest of the year as hard and long as possible," Moore said.

With the derailing music scene, however, TFN seem to have an uphill battle ahead of them, even in Fayetteville.

"The Fayetteville music scene is changing like I've never seen it before... people used to go out to shows just to support their friends and support the scene, but now it's not like that," Doss said.

TFN looks to change that Saturday when, as Doss described, they hope to have "a big old party" for their album release. The show, which will start around 10 p.m., will be opened by Justin Brasher and Apollo's Creed. The show is $5 at the door.

Masquerade is available on iTunes or through the band's MySpace page, and is $10.

TFN will also play a number of shows throughout Fayetteville for the rest of the year, including opening for rap superstars Three Six Mafia and playing, as well as organizing, the Feed Just One Benefit 2 in October.

The music scene may be slowing down, but it's not stopping anytime soon.
