"Projekt Revolution and Warped tour are so different. Warped tour is cool because there are a hundred bands to hang out with. It's kind of like school," Reber said. "Projekt Revolution was like sitting at the cool kids table all summer long. It was so chill, but you never got tired of any of the bands like you do because of the stress on Warped Tour."
However, sometimes you even get sick of your own band, Reber said.
"Being in a band is just like any other relationship, with it's highs and lows," he said, "but you just have to remember that when it's low that it can only get better from here. But that is expected to happen when you are basically on the road all year long.
"When you're touring, these places all start to seem the same. You get to a place and feel like you've been there before when you actually played at that place last year," Reber said. "It gets to be like 'whoa, it's been a year already.'"
Although Saosin has been touring relentlessly for the last year and a half, they finally are on a stretch where they are the headliners.
"We did a headlining tour with Norma Jean and that went surprisingly well," Reber said. "That made us want to do another headlining tour, and this one that we are on now has done equal, if not better, than the last one."
The current headlining tour features Saosin alongside fellow rockers Armor For Sleep, Fear Before the March of Flames and Meriweather. However, on this tour, old fans of the Anthony Green-led Saosin (who is now the lead singer for experimental rock band Circa Survive) will get a few blasts from the past.
"We are going to play a lot of songs we haven't toured on in a while," Reber said. "In fact, there is a part in the set where there is six old songs in a row. We are mixing it up."
While some Saosin fans are yearning for the past, many are waiting and begging for something new. However, they won't get it as soon as they like because Saosin has yet to start writing for their new record, Reber said.
