A month to remember?

From the sidelines

If Arkansas wants to make the most of this season, and seasons to come, they need to win out in 2007.

The problem is, the competition isn't getting any easier. For the next four Saturdays, Arkansas will face SEC opponents who are all getting better every week.

South Carolina put together a solid performance at Tennessee on Saturday night, losing in the final seconds. Steve Spurrier's teams are always ready to play. He's had a lot of success in the past against the Razorbacks.

That same Tennessee team hosts Arkansas on November 10th. Knoxville has not been too kind to Nutt-coached teams, as he has lost in all three attempts at Neyland Stadium.

Arkansas' final home game in Little Rock is usually a pushover against Mississippi State. The Bulldogs aren't going to be a pushover this year. They thumped a top-25 team in Kentucky on the road last Saturday.

And finally, the Razorbacks still have a trip to Death Valley the day after Thanksgiving. The Razorbacks have also not won there either under the tutelage of Nutt.

So, as I said earlier, fans need to realize that we have a football coach who has a good football team behind him that needs all the help he can get in making the most of this 2007 season. What would the harm be in rallying behind him and getting things accomplished now while we can instead of whining and complaining about something down the road?

Before this year, people were talking Heisman Trophy for Darren McFadden and an SEC Western Division title repeat for the Hogs. Now all people want to talk about is who we can hire as a new coach.

Let's get this season over with (successfully) before starting all that nonsense.

I agree. We need to rally around the team, which also includes the coaches, especially during November. So put away your hate that endures for what ever reason and support the team!!!
