When trying to predict an outcome, how can anyone not give the Rockies more than a fair chance at winning it all? The odds are two-to-one in favor of the Red Sox, but how can you think that a team that has won 21 out of their last 22 games can not win a seven-game series?
I, as a Red Sox fan for more than eight years, am picking the Red Sox to win it all for one reason: pitching.
Colorado will have to slow down offensively soon due to Boston's superior pitching, and they will not sweep the Red Sox, which will expose the back end of the rotation to the brutal Boston lineup. If they somehow sweep the Red Sox, I will personally do the Jonathan Papelbon "dance" outside the Union while donning a Rockies hat.
If you haven't had the chance of seeing the dance that is sweeping the nation for yourself, YouTube "Papelbon dance."
No matter what team you'll be rooting for to win this World Series, it should be a good one. The match-up is a good one and there seems to be quite a bit of hype surrounding the series to see if the Rockies can keep with their winning ways. The hype can be due in part because of the match up or perhaps because MLB's marketing team unleashed their playoff advertising way back in July, and as you know, Dane Cook is out on a mission to let everyone know that "there is only one October" (just incase you thought there were two).
This October (singular, not plural) should put a nice end to the already great month of baseball.

Wakefield is out for the series. Becket was dominant and will be again for game 5. Boston has good pitching, but the weather is cold now, I think that favors hitters. (Continued…)
