UA symphonies to perform classical euphonies tonight
The UA Wind Symphony and the University Symphony Orchestra will perform classical compositions 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Walton Arts Center.
The wind symphony, conducted by W. Dale Warren, will begin the concert. They will perform "Interlude and Fanfare from Symphony No. 3" by Aaron Copland, "Second Suite in F Major" by Gustav Holst, "Concerto Gaucho" by Kevin Walczyk, "Rocky Point Holiday" by Ron Nelson, and "Dance I from Jazz Suite No. 2" by Dmitri Shostakovich, according to the press release.… Post the First Comment |
