UA tobacco-free policy still lacks enforcement
The UA campus has been tobacco-free for three months. That's 123 days.
And what's changed after 123 days? Not much. Smokers still linger outside of RZ's Coffeehouse, students still walk through campus blowing smoke and some still don't even comply with the old "25-foot" rule.… 3 Comments |
Slick sidewalks slow students
Fresh sidewalks have been laid along the west and north sides of the Greek Theater and have posed an annoying problem since their construction. Though the seemingly harmless new walks are poised to become the Senior Walk for the 2008-11 classes, the first sprinkle of rain quickly turns them into a dangerous version of Slip 'n Slide.…

There has been some discussion about changing the laws in Arkansas to allow open carry. This is a change that I completely agree with.
The Second Amendment does not mean I can only carry concealed. It means I can carry, and unfortunately, that right has slowly eroded away. By allowing open carry the state would be restoring a right. … Post the First Comment |
