Gun enthusiast attempts to repeal open-carry ban

While never being a victim of gun violence, Brian Martin of Jonesboro said he hears about it getting closer to his home every day.

"If I can't live, what can I do?" Martin asked rhetorically.

Homecoming queen nominees up for election

The results of the 2008 UA homecoming queen election will hinge on student votes, which will be collected today through Wednesday at vote.uark.edu.

Students, faculty walk to raise violence awareness

An estimated 400 UA students and faculty members will participate in "Walk a Mile in her Shoes" 6 p.m. today at The Gardens to raise awareness of violence against women.
