RazALERT up and running, notifies students of dangerStudents now can receive emergency alerts via text messaging from RazALERT
The university has been trying to develop a way to contact all students in a time of crisis since before the Virginia Tech shooting in 2007, a UA official said.

UA sustainability noticed on national level
The UA has become more environmentally conscious, and though students said they are impressed, they have some advice on how the campus could improve.

Lincoln stresses election to UA students
Although many students believe politics don't have an effect on them, college students have more to lose and more to gain than anyone else in this election, Sen. Blanche Lincoln said Wednesday in a telephone interview.

Caribbean comes to the Union, students to experience its culture
At the Caribbean Cruise Immersion 5:15 to 8 p.m. today in the Arkansas Union Ballroom, people will experience a variety of cultures and food from the Caribbean islands.
