Voting glitch prompts election rehaul
Elections for Associated Student Government senators will be over 4 p.m. tomorrow, but a gaffe has been reported in the graduate and law school elections, a graduate student running for office said.

Next week, the elections for the graduate and law schools will be re-done because of a glitch that prevented graduate students from voting online, said Patrick Monroney, the director of the Center for Leadership and Community Engagement.… Post the First Comment

The seventh anniversary of Sept. 11 is this Thursday, and UA staff and students plan to memorialize the event on an individual level as a planned memorial service Thursday night was canceled because of weather concerns, professors and students said.

Energy costs hit UA hard, call for conservations

Dramatic increases in oil and natural gas prices are not the only setbacks leaving consumers feeling pain at the pump.

Marijuana as low-priority issue to be on Nov. ballot

If it is passed, the proposed city ordinance asking that marijuana become the lowest priority for law enforcement will either have no effect or will be historic, depending on whom you ask.

Writing tutors available in Mullins

Mullins Library will now offer services from writing tutors during the week.

Greenwood retiring as dean, staying at UA

The dean of the UA College of Education and Health Professions said his age is the reason he announced his retirement.
