We've been singing the refrain since we were children. "Rain, rain, go away. Come again some other day."

Former athlete donates; shows generosity
Just two years after he left the Razorback basketball team and the UA journalism department as a junior, Ronnie Brewer already has given back to his home state and university.
Brewer, who now plays for the Utah Jazz, donated $50,000 Wednesday to the UA African-American studies program, money that specifically will go toward students also interested in journalism.… Post the First Comment |

Sometimes I forget about race. I hate to think brown skin is a reminder for "danger," but it happens.

Letters to the editor
In reference to the university's tobacco-free campus policy: its "voluntary enforcement" is vague and confusing on purpose.
This policy is merely a politically correct ploy to make our campus seem as progressive as possible. Unfortunately, there are parts of this policy that the general student body is probably unaware of. University employees, staff and affiliates can be disciplined and fired for violating this policy. … 3 Comments |
