University fees fund programs and provide benefits to students
UA students pay more than just tuition every year and get more than education in return.
Aside from tuition, college fees and specific course fees, students pay a number of other fees, which are applied to various student benefits on campus. ASG helps Freshmen adjust to campus life
In an effort to create new student leaders campuswide, the Associated Student Government sponsors an ongoing program throughout the fall called Fresh H.O.G.S., or Freshman Helping Our Government Succeed, ASG representatives said.

UAPD investigates alleged rape at fraternity house
The UA police department received a report of an acquaintance rape on the first day of school this year, August 25. The alleged rape occurred between 12:30 and 5 a.m. August 23 at the Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity house, according to the police report.
The case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made, said Lt. Gary Crain, public information officer at the UAPD.… 3 Comments |
