Franklin, defense improve during game
This time last year redshirt freshman Jerry Franklin was just playing on the practice squad, and he wasn't even playing the position he did during a 28-24 win over Western Illinois Saturday.

Arkansas soccer beats ORU, earns weekend split
Arkansas junior mid-fielder Kathleen Paulsen scored on an athletic bicycle kick with just over nine minutes left in the contest, to rally the Razorbacks to a 4-3 victory over Oral Roberts.

Bobby Petrino probably didn't expect the students at Saturday's game to begin flapping their arms, signaling for the help of angels like in Angels in the Outfield (one of my favorite baseball movies ever, along with The Sandlot).

Volleyball swept in Puliza's debut
Arkansas volleyball head coach Robert Pulliza described his debut weekend as an opportunity to "evaluate, measure, and address weaknesses" of his team.
