Mullins Library hours could be further extended
Finally, the hours of Mullins Library have been extended until 2 a.m. Sunday through Thursday for the fall semester.
And - even better - Mullins will be open 24 hours during eight days of that dreaded finals time. Kudos to the UA administration for listening to students' voices.… Post the First Comment |
No-tobacco policy brings more problems
Unless you have been living under a rock for the past year and a half, you probably know about the discussion and approval of the UA no-tobacco policy, which doesn't outline any punishments for violators who are caught smoking on campus.
And, just like it seems, the problem lies within the vagueness of the policy - UA students are either ignoring their new tobacco-free campus, or they're very confused.… Post the First Comment |

Oh, how I chuckled when I read the UA had finally hit it big. The Princeton Review had ranked us the top campus nationally in terms of our environmental efforts. Who knew that accomplishment came with bragging rights? Ah! Another term has commenced! If there were any doubt it was happening, then the servers crashing would be a good indication.
I wanted to write this to ask students to be more considerate to those who actually do real work on the UA servers. Because no one heeded the warning to print schedules early, the people who actually run this place can't do any work.… 2 Comments |
